CONTRACT DESCRIPTION. Contract for public relations support for the 2020 Election Cycle. The scope of work includes development of a strategy, message, and timeline to educate the public about election related information and to develop a media strategy to assist with responding to media inquiries and interviews. Modification #1 added social media consulting services, including help with monitoring and combating misinformation/disinformation on social media and reviewing and proposing updates to the Agency’s website. The Agency determined this modification was in the best interest of the State after multiple briefings with federal and state partners stating that the most likely threat to the 2020 election is misinformation/disinformation on social media.
