CONTEMPLATED Clause Samples
The 'Contemplated' clause defines the scope of matters, actions, or scenarios that the parties have considered and addressed within the agreement. In practice, this clause clarifies which transactions, obligations, or events are expressly included in the contract's terms, often by referencing specific situations or anticipated developments. Its core function is to ensure that both parties have a mutual understanding of what is covered by the agreement, thereby reducing ambiguity and minimizing the risk of disputes over unaddressed or unforeseen issues.
