Consigned Materials Sample Clauses

The Consigned Materials clause defines the terms under which one party provides materials to another party for use in manufacturing, assembly, or other specified purposes, without transferring ownership. Typically, the supplier retains ownership of the materials until they are incorporated into finished products or otherwise agreed upon, and the recipient is responsible for safeguarding, storing, and accounting for the consigned items. This clause ensures clear allocation of risk and responsibility for the materials, preventing disputes over ownership and loss, and facilitating efficient supply chain management.
