Concurrent User License Clause Samples
A Concurrent User License is a contractual provision that permits a specified number of users to access and use a software application simultaneously. In practice, this means that while the software may be installed on multiple devices, only the allowed number of users can be logged in and using the system at the same time; for example, a license for five concurrent users allows any five individuals to use the software at once, regardless of which specific users they are. This clause helps organizations manage software costs and compliance by limiting usage to a defined number of active users, thereby preventing unauthorized or excessive access.

Concurrent User License. Licensed Software provided under this License Option gives Licensee the right to install and use one copy of the Licensed Software on the designated Host Server (as defined above) specified in the Product Order for use by the maximum number of Concurrent Users (defined above) for whom Licensee has paid the applicable license fee. Licensee may connect any number of workstations to the Host Server; however, the total number of users who may access and use the Licensed Software at any given time is limited by the number of Concurrent Users expressly authorized by Licensor in the Product Order. The total number of Concurrent Users is one (1), unless Licensor expressly authorized Licensee to connect more than one Concurrent User.
Concurrent User License. Where licensing of Products is based upon “Concurrent Users”, Contractor hereby grants license rights to the specified number of concurrent users actually executing the licensed programs, without reference to location or named users (hereinafter “Concurrent Users”). Upon written notice to Contractor, Authorized User reserves the right, without penalty or termination of the existing license, to increase or diminish the number of Concurrent User licenses.
Concurrent User License. The license(s) granted to DMAS under this section authorize the use of the Software on any system based on the total number of Concurrent Users. DMAS shall specify an initial number of Concurrent User licenses in this Contract. DMAS may increase the number of Concurrent User licenses by executing a Contract modification for additional Concurrent User licenses. The license fee for additional Concurrent User licenses and payment of the license fee is set forth in Exhibit B attached to this Contract.
Concurrent User License. A Concurrent User License entitles Licensee to install and use the Software on any number of Licensed Devices, but the Software may not be used simultaneously by several users, users may only access the Software one after the other. The Concurrent User License is only available in conjunction with a Floating License Server License. By granting a Concurrent User License Licensor automatically grants Licensee a limited, personal, non- exclusive, non-transferable license for internal purposes only, to install and use the Floating License Server Software. The individual purchased number of Concurrent User and Floating License Server Licenses is specified in the offer or the order.
Concurrent User License. Under the terms of a Concurrent User License, the Software may only be used to serve an aggregate specified maximum number of individual end users of your Customer Applications at any one time.
Concurrent User License. Software provided under this option may be installed on and processed by the server computer located at a site indicated on the invoice, and may be installed on and simultaneously processed by the number of workstation and/or personal computers (“Concurrent Users”) indicated on the invoice, which have electronic access to the server computer located at any site indicated on the invoice and which are accessing the same data concurrently from more than one computer up to the predefined limit.
Concurrent User License. If the Product is licensed on a Concurrent User basis, then the Product may be installed and used on multiple machines for access by multiple users provided that at any given time the maximum number of Concurrent Users accessing or using the Product may not exceed the number of Concurrent Users identified in the Order. A “Concurrent User” is a single individual making use of or accessing the Product under a Concurrent User License model and will be deemed a “Concurrent User” at all times while such use or access is occurring.
Concurrent User License. Licensee shall be authorized to make the Software available to a mutually agreed number of Concurrent Users as set forth in the applicable License Schedule with QUADIENT. If Concurrent Users are monitored via server settings, Licensee agrees to maintain the server settings in such a way that the number of Licenses in concurrent use do not exceed the licensed user number (i.e. the number set for the server shall always be equal to or less than the number of licensed End Users).
Concurrent User License. Licensee may install the Software on any and all Computers and Networks worldwide and allow access by the number of concurrent Users designated on the Order Document.
Concurrent User License. If You have acquired a Concurrent User license, You may install or use the Software for use by Authorized Users at Your Workplace for the License Term; provided, however, in no event may the number of Authorized Users who are accessing and/or using any of the Software at the same time (i.e., concurrent users) exceed the Maximum Number of Licenses which You have purchased. Your Concurrent User license will automatically terminate if the number of Concurrent Users of the Software at any time exceeds the Maximum Number of Licenses which You have purchased. Except as otherwise set forth in an applicable Purchase Order, and if applicable to the exact License type being purchased, QualiSystems shall provide Licensee with one (1) machine-readable copy of the executable object code of the Software and appropriate Documentation with each order hereunder. When Software is being licensed on SAAS basis, License defined above will be seen as a right to access the hosted Software services on the applicable QualiSystems servers according to the same applicable usage and other limitations set forth for the License purchased and for the agreed upon License Term purchased under the Purchase Order, and not receipt of a machine-readable copy of the Software, as detailed above. QualiSystems reserves the right to audit Licensee's use of the Software during normal business hours and with reasonable notice and to include means within the Software to remotely monitor and/or limit Licensee's use of the Software as limited in these Terms.
