The Council will help people solve their problems peacefully but we will take action quickly when this fails and in cases of harassment or victimisation. 4.1 You are responsible for the behaviour of every person (including children) living in or visiting your home. Examples of harassment include , but are not limited to: • racist behaviour or language; using or threatening to use violence; using abusive or insulting words or behaviour; damaging or threatening to damage another person’s home or possessions; writing threatening, abusive or insulting graffiti; doing anything that interferes with the peace, comfort or convenience of others. 4.4 You (or anyone living with you, or visiting your home) must not threaten, abuse or in any other way distress any Member, Officer or official agent of the Council. 4.5 You (or anyone living with you, or visiting your home) must not make false or malicious complaints about the behaviour of any other person. 4.6 You (or anyone living with you, or visiting your home) must not use your home or any communal area for any illegal activity such as selling drugs. 4.7 You (or anyone living with you, or visiting your home) must not damage, deface or put graffiti on Council property. Community Responsibilities. 2.1.1. Community shall hire and employ nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs and/or MAs, at Community’s sole discretion) to staff School’s School Nursing program (the “School Nurse(s)”) based upon assessment of schools and health needs in each school. Community will provide at least one RN or LPN personnel in each school building. Community will provide at least two (2) permanent nurse substitutes. Community shall maintain a log of the School Nurse(s) assigned to School and will update same on a periodic basis. The School Nurse(s) shall be deployed within School and be employed as a Community employee. School acknowledges and agrees that School Nurses assigned by Community are Community employees and are not employees of School and, therefore, Community shall provide performance standards, oversight of work performed, and application of Community policies and procedures when dealing with the employment relationships, including handling performance issues, disciplinary actions, termination of employment, and other employment related issues for employees assigned by Community to provide services. School shall notify Community of any performance issue related to a School Nurse and allow Community to manage issues in accordance with Community’s policies and procedures. In the event that School objects to a School Nurse assigned to provide School Nursing services, School shall inform Community in writing and the parties shall work together in good faith to address and resolve such concerns. 2.1.2. The general School Nurse(s) functions are listed in Schedule 2.1.2, which may be updated from time to time. 2.1.3. School will employ a qualified BSN prepared Registered Nurse manager to provide day to day oversight for the School Nurse(s) providing School Nursing program services. Community shall notify School of any performance issue related to the nurse manager and allow School to manage issues in accordance with School policies and procedures. In the event that Community objects to the Nurse Manager assigned to provide day-to-day oversight for the School Nurse program, Community will inform School in writing and the parties shall work together in good faith to address and resolve such concerns. 2.1.4. Community Responsibilities. 2.1 Through mutual consultation, the [Community] agrees with and supports the political and substantive positions of the MNBC on province-wide and national- level issues, including matters such as Métis Citizenship, Governance and Self- Government. 2.2 Subject to available resources, the [Community] agrees to participate in the MNGA and will comply with the provisions of all Legislation ratified by the Citizens at an MNBC AGM including but not limited to the Métis Nation Governing Assembly Act, the Senate Act and the Citizenship Act. 2.3 The [Community] agrees to participate regularly with the Regional President's Councils as set out in the MNBC Constitution and, subject to article 2.4 herein, the Constitution of the relevant Regional President's Council which is chaired by the MNBC Regional Director. 2.4 The [Community] hereby agrees to ensure that the Constitution of the [Community] and, as much as possible, it’s Regional President’s Council Constitution, is or shall be made consistent with the provisions of the MNBC Constitution.
