CARTAGE. Seller will not assume, allow or pay special notification charges assessed by the carrier or any charges for cartage, detention, or store door delivery at destination. If special services are requested, any costs will be passed on to Buyer.

CARTAGE. Whenever the Producer requests a musician to bring a heavy instrument to a recording session, the Producer shall specify whether the musician shall transport such heavy instrument either by public or private transportation, and public transportation shall be used if it is the only practicable manner of transportation. If a public carrier is to be used, the Producer shall have the option of designating the public carrier which shall be qualified to transport musical instruments. If the instrument is delivered by the designated public carrier, the Producer shall pay the cartage xxxx of the designated public carrier. If the musician chooses to use a carrier other than that designated by the Producer, the Producer shall not be liable for a cartage xxxx greater than the rate charged by the designated carrier. If private transportation is used, the Producer will pay musician cartage fees as follows: Harp, Electric Piano, Tympani $30.00 each. String-Bass, Tuba, Drums, Amplifiers, Baritone Saxophone, Bass Saxophone, Cello, Contra Bass Clarinet and Contra Bassoon $12.00 each.
CARTAGE. Whenever a musician is required to bring a heavy instrument to an engagement, the Producer will pay public carrier cartage bills as submitted. If private transportation is used, the Producer will pay musician cartage fees up to a maximum of $100.00.
CARTAGE. If the Musician is required to bring heavy instruments to a recording session, they shall be paid for cartage. If the Musician must take public transportation as the only practicable manner of transportation, cartage bills should be paid as submitted. If private transportation is taken, then the cartage fee shall be $17.00 for the smaller grouping of instruments (accordion, tuba, drums, marimba, chimes, vibraphone, all amplifiers, baritone saxophone, bass saxophone, cello, contrabassoon and contra bass clarinet) and $35.00 for the larger grouping (harp, timpani, keyboard and string bass). The musician shall also be paid the $17.00 cartage fee if they are asked to bring three or more instruments in separate cases, excluding harmonicas, flutes (including recorders) and clarinets (other than bass clarinets and contra bass clarinets). Cartage is not a scale wage and is not subject to pension or reuse.
CARTAGE. The Employer shall pay actual common carrier cartage costs for heavy instruments, such as keyboards or percussion. If musicians self-transport, the Employer shall pay the musician for actual cartage, at the following rates, for those instruments listed below when required: Harp $50.00 String bass, tympani, mallet instruments, bass saxophone, contra bassoon, heavy amplifiers, tuba, and drum-kit $40.00 Baritone saxophone, cello, contra bass clarinet, accordion, guitar, baritone horn, cimbasso, contra bass, trombone, and doubling musicians who carry more than 3 instruments........... $15.00 each.
CARTAGE. Musicians engaged by the Producer to play the following instruments shall have said instruments transported to and from the place of engagement by a common carrier or musicians' cartage service at the expense of the Producer. Payment for such cartage will require the Producer's advance approval, which will not be unreasonably withheld. - Harp - Timpani - Any acoustic or electronic keyboard instrument and related amplification and electronic equipment. - Percussion instruments (including drum set, mallet keyboard instruments and any electronic music devices and related amplification equipment where required). - Electric guitar and electric bass where amplifiers and related electronic equipment are required.
CARTAGE. Cartage shall be paid under the terms of the Local CBA.

CARTAGE. Price is to cover net weight of material and no charges of any kind; including without limitation charges for boxing, packing, loading, bracing or cartage will be allowed unless specifically agreed to by Buyer in writing.
