Cable Sample Clauses
The 'Cable' clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the provision, installation, and maintenance of cables within a project or contractual arrangement. Typically, this clause specifies the types of cables to be used, standards for installation, and the party responsible for supplying and ensuring the proper functioning of the cables. For example, it may require that all electrical or data cables meet certain safety or performance standards and be installed by qualified personnel. The core practical function of this clause is to ensure that all cabling work is performed to agreed specifications, thereby minimizing risks of malfunction, safety hazards, or disputes over responsibility.
Cable. Television cable service can be obtained through the local cable provider. Hookup and charges for cable service are the responsibility of Lessee.
Cable. A. Owner will supply at least one coaxial cable per apartment when cable is available.
B. Tenant may install additional cable lines for television and internet access, at his/her expense, after written permission is granted from Owner. Tenant is responsible for all internal cable.
Cable. The applicable payment for each cycle of use shall be made not later than 15 working days after the date of first use in such cycle, except that adjustments for unit compensation not ascertainable at the time of first use, shall be paid in full not later than 15 working days after the completion of such cycle.
Cable. You may have a cable provider add additional wiring and drill into walls by showing them this document.
Cable. Pathnet is required to provide proper cabling, based on circuit type (VF, DS0, xDSL, DS1, DS3, etc.) to ensure adequate shielding. GTE cable standards (which are set forth in the CSP) are required to reduce the possibility of interference. Pathnet is responsible for providing fire retardant riser cable that meets GTE standards. GTE is responsible for placing Pathnet's fire retardant riser cable from the cable vault to the collocation space. GTE is responsible for installing Pathnet provided fiber optic cable in the cable space or conduit from the first manhole outside of the wire center or access tandem into the wire center or access tandem. This may be shared conduit with dedicated inner duct. Where Pathnet is providing underground fiber optic cable in the first manhole outside of the wire center or access tandem, it must be of sufficient length as specified by GTE to be pulled through the wire center or access tandem to Pathnet’s collocation space. Due to physical and technical constraints, removal of cable will be at GTE's option. GTE will make every effort to contact Pathnet in the event Pathnet's equipment disrupts the network. If GTE is unable to make contact with Pathnet, GTE shall temporarily disconnect Pathnet's service, as provided in Section 4.7. GTE will notify Pathnet as soon as possible after any disconnects of Pathnet's equipment.
Cable. This Section does not apply to, nor authorize the use of, commercials on “pay TV systems,” as that phrase is used in the Industry, which do not now carry commercial announcements.
Cable. (1) Within thirty (30) days after the expiration or sooner termination of the Lease or at any time that any of the Wires (as defined below) are no longer in active use by Tenant, Landlord may elect by written notice to Tenant to:
(a) Retain any or all wires, cables, and similar installations appurtenant thereto ("Wires") installed by Tenant within the Premises or anywhere in the Building outside the Premises, including, without limitation, the plenums or risers of the Building;
(b) Remove any or all of the Wires and restore the Premises or the Building, as the case maybe, to their condition existing prior to the installation of the Wires ("Wire Restoration Work"). Landlord, at its option, may perform such Wire Restoration Work at Tenant's sole (but reasonable) cost and expense; or
(c) Require Tenant to perform all or part of the Wire Restoration Work at Tenant's sole cost and expense.
(2) In the event that Tenant discontinues the use of all or any part of the Wires or is no longer using all or any part of the Wires, Tenant shall within thirty (30) days thereafter notify Landlord of same in writing, accompanied by a plan or other reasonable description of the current type, quantity, points of commencement and termination, and routes of the Wires to allow Landlord to determine if Landlord desires to retain same.
(3) In the event Landlord elects to retain any or all of the Wires, Tenant covenants that:
(a) Tenant shall be the sole owner of the Wires, Tenant shall have the sole right to surrender the Wires, and the Wires shall be free of all liens and encumbrances; and
(b) All Wires shall be left in good condition, working order, properly labeled and capped or sealed at each end and in each telecommunications/electrical closet and junction box, and in safe condition.
(4) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Lease, Landlord may retain Tenant's Security Deposit after the expiration or sooner termination of the Lease until one of the following events has occurred with respect to all of the Wires:
(a) Landlord elects to retain the Wires pursuant to Paragraph (1)(a) above;
(b) Landlord elects to perform the Wire Restoration Work pursuant to Paragraph (1)(b) above and the Wire Restoration Work is complete and Tenant has fully reimbursed Landlord for all reasonable costs related thereto; or
(c) Landlord elects to require Tenant to perform the Wire Restoration Work pursuant to Paragraph (1)(c) above and the Wire Restoration Work is complete and Tenant has ...
Cable. Tenant may install additional cable lines for television and internet access, at his/her expense, after written permission is granted from Landlord. Tenant is responsible for all internal cable.
Cable. (a) The current SAG-AFTRA Cable Experimental Agreement, which has been extended from March 31, 1997, shall apply until such time as thereafter extended.
(b) If, during the term of this Agreement, SAG-AFTRA adopt terms and conditions involving cable that are different from current terms and conditions, then, in such event, said different terms and conditions shall apply to this Agreement.
Cable. MFN is required to provide proper cabling, based on circuit type (VF, DS0, xDSL, DS1, DS3, etc.) to ensure adequate shielding. GTE cable standards (which are set forth on Addendum B to the CSP) are required to reduce the possibility of interference. MFN is responsible for providing fire retardant riser cable that meets GTE standards. GTE is responsible for placing MFN's fire retardant riser cable from the cable vault to the partitioned space. GTE is responsible for installing MFN provided fiber optic cable in the cable space or conduit from the manhole to the wire center or access tandem. This may be shared conduit with dedicated inner duct. GTE will wire DS1 services in multiples of 28 or DS0 cable facilities in sufficient capacity for GTE to wire DS0 services in multiples of 24. MFN shall be required to provide DS1 cable facilities to support MFN equipment installed to its capacity. If MFN provides its own fiber optic facility, then MFN shall be responsible for bringing its fiber optic cable to the wire center or access tandem manhole and leave sufficient cable length for GTE to be able to fully extend such cable through to MFN's space. Due to physical and technical constraints, removal of cable will be at GTE's option. GTE will make every effort to contact MFN in the event MFN's equipment disrupts the network. If GTE is unable to make contact with MFN, GTE shall temporarily disconnect MFN's service, as provided in Section 4.7. GTE will notify MFN as soon as possible after any disconnects of MFN's equipment.
4.3.4.1 GTE recognizes MFN’s desire for the placement of high count fiber optic entrance cables (432 fibers) into MFN’s collocation arrangements. The Parties desire to avoid multiple fiber optic cable installations into the cable vault and to MFN’s collocation arrangement. Provided there is sufficient duct space entering GTE’s premises and sufficient duct and cable rack structure within GTE’s premises, GTE will allow the placement of 432 count fiber optic cable between the manhole and MFN’s collocation arrangement.
