Building Closures. Notwithstanding the above, if a building closes, an employee thereby may fill any vacant position in their classification series on the basis of seniority, consistent with Section A, above, and, if no such vacancy exists, said employee may bump the least senior employee in their classification series, on the basis of seniority.

The Contractor may perform a clean prior to and immediately after a Government Shutdown. Other – Unpredictable or unknown events may cause the government to close the Cannonville Visitor Center. The government will provide immediate notification, when known, of any building closures to the Contractor. During this time, the BLM may deferred work schedules until a later date.
Building Closures. When buildings are closed because of emergencies, unsafe or hazardous conditions, Employees shall be paid in accordance with Section 1153 of the Public School Code (1949) as amended. Such Employees are subject to reassignment for the duration of the emergencies to other professional Employee duties.
Building Closures. The District will agree to use its automated telephone notification system to advise employees of school closings using the telephone numbers provided by employees to the Human Resources Department. The District will also publish to the Union a list of the television and radio stations that will be alerted to District closings due to inclement weather or another Act of God. When an employee has not received an automated call and when the radio and television stations have not broadcast a school closing, and the employee remains uncertain about whether school is open, the employee may call his or her supervisor for confirmation. If the buildings are closed due to weather or Act of God, but remote learning is taking place to count the day as a school day, employees will receive work they can do remotely in order to be paid for the day. If students are released early from a building during the school day but the building is not evacuated, employees shall remain and complete their regular workday. If a building is evacuated during an employee’s regular workday, the administrator will assign the employee to another worksite to complete his or her regular workday, or the employee will be released without further obligation or pay for the remainder of the day.

Building Closures. In the event the Government declares a Code Red Building Closure, employees working on posts other than 24-hour posts shall not be required to man such posts unless the Government declares a building emergency. Those employees working on posts other than 24-hour posts who are allowed to go home shall be paid for the hours they would have [ILLEGIBLE] Government not declared a Code Red Building Closure.
