Breaker. Breaker failure protection shall be provided for the 115kV breaker; this protection must trip the appropriate adjacent breakers and send DTT to the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Arcade and Five Mile Substations. For loss of SF6, the breaker must trip and block close. DTT received from Connecting Transmission Owner’s Arcade and Five Mile Substations will be required to trip the Interconnection Customer's 115kV breaker for a line relay operation or breaker failure at Connecting Transmission Owner’s Arcade and Five Mile Substations. The Interconnection Customer shall provide on/off switches for the DTT schemes.
Breaker. Breaker failure protection shall be provided for the 115kV breaker; this protection must trip the appropriate adjacent breakers and send direct transfer trip to Connecting Transmission Owner’s Long Lane Substation and LaFarge’s LaFarge Substation for transformer faults. (Note: If the Q598 Albany County 2 Solar Project is also constructed, as described under separate agreement between Interconnection Customer, Connecting Transmission Owner, and the NYISO, tripping of the Albany 2 Collector Substation by DTT will also be required). For loss of SF6, the breaker must trip and block close. (Note: When the facility’s interrupter fails to interrupt for internal station faults and loss of SF6 condition, the Interconnection Customer is not to rely on Connecting Transmission Owner’s 115kV system for remote backup). DTT receive from Connecting Transmission Owner’s Long Lane Substation will be required to trip the Interconnection Customer's 115kV breaker for a line relay operation, R6 breaker failure, and if R6 is opened at the Long Lane Substation. Additional channels available on the GARD 8000s shall be used for this protection scheme. (Note: If the Q598 Albany County 2 Solar Project is also constructed, as described under separate agreement between Interconnection Customer, Connecting Transmission Owner, and the NYISO, tripping of the Albany 2 Collector Substation by DTT will also be required).
Breaker. Breaker failure protection shall be provided for the 69kV breaker; this protection must trip the appropriate adjacent breakers and send DTT to Connecting Transmission Owner’s Florida and Ephratah Substations. For loss of SF6, the breaker must trip and block close. (Note: When the Small Generating Facility’s interrupter fails to interrupt for internal station faults and loss of SF6 condition, the Interconnection Customer is not to rely on Connecting Transmission Owner’s 69kV system for remote backup.) DTT receive from Connecting Transmission Owner’s Florida and Ephratah Substations will be required to trip Interconnection Customer’s 69kV breaker for line relay operation or breaker failure at the Florida or Ephratah Substation. The Interconnection Customer shall provide on/off switches for the DTT schemes.
Breaker. Breaker failure protection shall be provided for the 34.5kV breaker; this protection must send DTT to the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Maplehurst and Machias Substations. For SERVICE AGREEMENT NO. 2572 loss of SF6, the breaker must trip and block close. (Note: if the Small Generating Facility’s interrupter fails to interrupt for internal station faults and loss of SF6 condition, the Interconnection Customer is not to rely on the Connecting Transmission Owner’s 34.5kV system for remote backup.) DTT receive from Connecting Transmission Owner’s Maplehurst and Machias Substations will be required to trip the Interconnection Customer's 34.5kV breaker for a line relay operation or breaker failure at Connecting Transmission Owner’s Maplehurst and Machias Substations. The Interconnection Customer shall provide on/off switches for the DTT schemes.
Breaker. Breaker failure protection shall be provided for the 69kV breaker; this protection must trip the appropriate adjacent breakers and send DTT to Connecting Transmission Owner’s Johnstown Substation. For loss of SF6, the breaker must trip and block close. (Note: When the Small Generating Facility’s interrupter fails to interrupt for internal station faults and loss of SF6 condition, the Interconnection Customer is not to rely on Connecting Transmission Owner’s 69kV system for remote backup.) DTT receive from Connecting Transmission Owner’s Johnstown Substation will be required to trip Interconnection Customer’s 69kV breaker for line relay operation or breaker failure at the Johnstown Substation. The Interconnection Customer shall provide on/off switches for the DTT schemes.
