Biodiesel Clause Samples

The 'Biodiesel' clause defines the standards, specifications, and requirements applicable to biodiesel fuel supplied or used under the agreement. It typically outlines the acceptable quality parameters, such as blend levels (e.g., B5, B20), compliance with regulatory standards, and any necessary certifications or documentation. This clause ensures that all biodiesel provided meets agreed-upon criteria, thereby protecting both parties from disputes over fuel quality and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Biodiesel. The Biodiesel to be produced pursuant to this Agreement shall comply with the specifications set forth on Exhibit C attached hereto. At REG Marketing’s request, two (2) - one (1) litre samples of the Biodiesel to be delivered to REG Marketing by Blackhawk Biofuels shall be made available for testing at REG Marketing’s cost, prior to REG Marketing picking up such Biodiesel. Should inspection and testing determine that any Biodiesel does not meet the required specifications (whether determined before or after such Biodiesel has been picked up by REG Marketing, and including after delivery to REG Marketing’s customers), REG Marketing shall have the right to reject such Biodiesel, and require Blackhawk Biofuels, at its cost, to replace the same with Biodiesel that meets the required specifications.
Biodiesel. Biodiesel shall mean B100 Biodiesel that meets or exceeds the Product Specifications contained in Section 5 hereof and that was produced using Feedstock of the same type, mixture, and specifications as the Feedstock provided by MBF for use in the production thereof.
Biodiesel. Blends a. All fuels shall conform to the following requirements: i. ASTM D975-22a or latest revision, Specification for Diesel Fuel Oils — covers grades of diesel fuel suitable for use in various types of diesel engines. ii. ASTM D396-21 or latest revision, Specification for Fuel Oils — covers grades of diesel fuel suitable for fuel-oil burning equipment iii. ASTM D7467-20a or latest revision, Specification for Diesel Fuel Oil, Biodiesel Blend (B6 to 20) — covers finished fuel blends of between 6 (B6) and 20 (B20) percent biodiesel for used in various types of diesel engines. iv. ASTM D6751-20a or latest revision, Specification for Biodiesel Fuel Blend Stock (B100) for Middle Distillate Fuels — used to control pure biodiesel (B100) quality prior to blending with conventional diesel type fuels.
Biodiesel. QUALITY OF FUEL is very important to all of us. The Co-op will only distribute biodiesel manufactured to ASTM D-6751 standards. Although tax provisions may dictate that B99 or B99.9 as the only fuel available, the coop will always seek to provide pure biodiesel (B100) manufactured to those standards whenever possible.

Biodiesel. In accordance with the terms and conditions herein, Soy shall process the entire quantity of each such Feedstock delivery into biodiesel (“Biodiesel”) which meets the quality standards and specifications set forth in the most current version of ASTM D-6751 or as agreed to in the Monthly Delivery Schedule (the “Biodiesel Quality Standards”) and in accordance with the schedule set forth in the applicable Monthly Delivery Schedule.
Biodiesel. Biodiesel must meet or exceed ASTM # D6751-11a and ASTM # D5453 or revised specifications. Contractors may be requested to provide test results to verify product meets ASTM specification requirements. The Contractor or fuel provider shall take a sample of the biodiesel product from each batch and seal, label, and store the samples for a period not less than seven (7) months. Upon request by the purchaser, the Contractor shall supply the sample for testing purposes. Biodiesel blends must also be sampled, sealed, labeled and stored for testing purposes. Contractors will provide to the purchaser verifiable quarterly test results confirming the fuel meets the full spectrum of ASTM6751 or if the producer is BQ-9000 certified the test results shall be provided every six (6) months. Fuel is required to be free from contamination resulting in bacteria or condensation. If bacteria are present, the appropriate treatment shall be applied to the fuel at the expense of the Contractor. The fuel will rotate from tanks within a six (6) month period. Biodiesel must be filter-cleaned to five (5) microns or less upon transfer from storage tanks to the local transport vehicle. Blending and handling of biodiesel shall conform to the most current Biodiesel Handling and Use Guidelines as defined by the U. S. Department of Energy. Biodiesel is known to degrade due to age. As fresh a product as is practical shall be provided, but in no case shall the biodiesel product be older than four (4) months from the date of manufacture.
Biodiesel. BP makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to whether any biodiesel blend purchased by Customer, if any, is compatible with Customer’s equipment or vehicles.
