Structural Elements definition

Structural Elements means the structural (i.e., load bearing) components of the Building’s footings, foundations, exterior structural walls, interior structural columns and other load-bearing elements of the Building.
Structural Elements means those parts or elements of a building which resist forces and moments, and includes foundations, beams, columns, shear cores, structural walls, struts, ground anchors, slabs, trusses, staircases, load bearing walls and all other elements designed to resist forces and moments but does not include doors, windows and non-load bearing walls;
Structural Elements means the structural components of the Building's base building improvements, including structural components which integrate with the interior tenant improvements within the Premises, including without limitation the roof, foundations, exterior structural walls and other load-bearing elements of the Building.

  • Water Tightness The Structural Elements of Underpass shall be designed with Crack Width less than 0.2mm for Water Tightness.

  • Any partition walls located within a Home that do not contribute to the support of the Building are not Common Structural Elements.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Board, in its sole business discretion, shall have the power and the authority to require the Association, rather than the Owners of each Home, to acquire casualty insurance for the Common Structural Elements and the drywalls within the single family attached townhomes in which case the insurance provisions with respect to Association Property would apply and all insurance proceeds for the repair and rebuilding thereof shall be paid to the Association.

More Definitions of Structural Elements

Structural Elements means all elements of the roof (including roof joists, structure, and membrane) of the Building, the exterior (including gutters, flashings, and downspouts) of the Building, and to all elements of the exterior windows, footings, foundation, floor slabs, permanent exterior walls, support columns, and joists of the Building.
Structural Elements means the structural components of the Buildings, including without limitation the roofs, foundations, exterior structural walls, floor/ceiling slabs, exterior glass and mullions, columns, beams, shafts, elevator cabs and other load-bearing elements of the Buildings. Within six (6) months following the substantial completion of the Base Building Work (but not as a condition of substantial completion), Landlord agrees to perform, at its sole cost and expense, an infrared scan of the roofs of Buildings C, D and E and to provide Tenant with a copy of the results of such scan. In the event that such scan xxxxxx that the roof systems are not weather-tight (except to the extent resulting from particular components of the Tenant Improvement Work), Landlord agrees, at Landlord's sole cost and expense and without inclusion in Landlord's Operating Expenses, to promptly and diligently repair any such problem areas in accordance with good and sound construction standards in the commercial roofing industry.
Structural Elements shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.
Structural Elements means the structural portions of the roof, foundations, and structural walls (excluding any exterior façade or exterior finish), the floor slab, the foundation and the footings of the Building. The determination of whether or not Capital Work is required shall be made in accordance with standards customarily maintained by the owners of the Comparable Maintenance Standards Buildings. As used herein, the term “Capital Work” shall mean repair, improvements or replacements that are considered capital repairs, improvements or replacements under generally accepted accounting principles that are consistent with industry standards and sound management practices, provided that if any repair, improvement or replacement work required at the Building would cost less than Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000) to complete, then such repair, improvement or replacement shall not constitute Capital Work hereunder and shall be performed by Lessee pursuant to Paragraph 11(a) above. As used herein, the term “Lessor Work” shall mean “Structural Work” and “Capital Work,” collectively. Notwithstanding the foregoing or anything to the contrary herein, Lessee shall pay the cost of repairs for any damage to the Structural Elements, elements which would comprise items of Capital Work or the Exterior Common Areas caused by Lessee’s negligence, willful misconduct or the installation of any Alterations, to the extent (if any) not covered by the property insurance required to be carried by Lessor under the Lease.
Structural Elements means the structural foundation, roof and load-bearing walls of the Building and comparable structural elements of the service areas and loading docks located in the Exterior Areas. Except for Landlord’s obligations under this Lease with respect to Landlord Work, Landlord is not required to furnish any services or facilities, or to make any repairs or Alterations, in, about or to the Premises other than with respect to the Structural Elements. Tenant acknowledges that Landlord is not required to maintain, repair or rebuild all or any part of the Premises or make repairs at the expense of Landlord pursuant to any Laws at any time in effect, except as expressly provided in this Lease.
Structural Elements means the roof, the roof membrane roof covering (including interior ceiling and any other part of the Building and other Improvements, if damaged by leakage), exterior walls (except for windows), load bearing walls and floor slabs and masonry walls, structural support beams, and the foundation of the Building and other Improvements. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Tenant shall be responsible, at Xxxxxx’s sole expense, for effecting and paying for any repairs to Structural Elements necessitated by the negligence or willful misconduct of Tenant.
Structural Elements means the roof, the slabs, the beams, columns, girders and other structural members and connections, the interior and exterior of all exterior walls, window frames and windows and all other parts of the Building's structure and supports.
