Vacation Payout. Where an employee requests in writing to have a specific number of vacation days paid out, and the Employer agrees to the request, the Employer will issue pay in lieu of vacation. Pay in lieu of vacation, if agreed, will be granted only after a minimum of 15 days' vacation time has already been taken in the year.
Vacation Payout. Any permanent employee whose employment is terminated during the year, shall have his/her vacation entitlement prorated accordingly.
Vacation Payout. Upon termination an employee shall be compensated for all unused vacation accrual and entitlement.
Vacation Payout. Employees, after six months of continuous employment, who terminate their employment upon providing the Employer proper notice, shall be paid all their vacation time earned through their last day of employment. This provision shall not apply in the case of an employee discharged for cause. After one (1) year of continuous employment, employees will receive payment for fifty percent (50%) of unused, available PTO hours upon termination of employment.
Vacation Payout. Upon termination of employment after six (6) months of service, an employee shall be paid for any earned but unused vacation time.
Vacation Payout. Employees, after twelve months of continuous employment whose employment is severed for any reason shall be paid all their vacation time earned through their last day of employment. Full-time or part-time employees employed at least one year who change their status to on-call employees shall have their accrued vacation cashed out at the time of the change to status.
Vacation Payout. A member who is to be separated from the Township service for any reason and who has accrued but unused vacation leave shall be paid in a lump sum for such unused vacation leave.
Vacation Payout. If a Resident Physician is unable to take their annual allotment of vacation because of service commitments, the Resident Physician shall be paid in lieu for unused vacation time. After appropriate review, such payment shall be made in the pay period following the end of the Appointment Year.
Vacation Payout. In the event of layoff and at the request of the affected employee, the District will pay the employee for all earned vacation days at the rate the employee would have received them had he/she been in paid status.
Vacation Payout. If an Employee, due to being on leave of absence, Workers' Compensation, Disability, or other unforeseen circumstance is unable to take vacation within the vacation year and arrangements have not been made for a carryover of vacation, the remaining vacation entitlement shall be paid out to the Employee.
