General Orientation. The Company agrees to provide the Union representative with not less than seven (7) calendar days notice of new employee training sessions at which the Union representative will be allowed not less than thirty (30) minutes as a general orientation period for the familiarization of the employees in the bargaining unit, the general conditions and responsibilities with respect to this Collective Agreement and to the Union.

General Orientation. The objectives of orientation shall be to familiarize new nurses with the objectives and philosophy of the Hospital and nursing services, to orient new nurses to the Hospital's policies and procedures, and to instruct new nurses as to their functions and responsibilities as defined in job descriptions. Orientation will consist of a basic comprehensive program in which the nurse will be oriented through a combination of instructional conferences, floor and/or shift work. A WSNA bargaining unit member shall be given thirty (30) paid minutes (nonove1iime) during RN orientation to meet with new nurses. The content of the WSNA presentation shall be provided to the Hospital in January each year and shall be mutually agreeable to the WSNA and the Hospital.

General Orientation. The Secretary-Treasurer shall be advised of the date, time, and place of Employer induction sessions for new employees in order that a Union-designated representative shall be given an opportunity to talk to the new employees, for no longer than thirty
General Orientation. The Secretary-Treasurer or the Senior Union Official shall be advised of the date, time and place of Employer orientation sessions for new employees in order that a Union-designated representative shall be given an opportunity to talk to the new employees. Prior to each session, the Employer shall advise the Secretary-Treasurer or the Senior Union Official of the names of the new employees hired. Orientation sessions for new employees shall be held at the Employer's place of business within the first thirty (30) calendar days of employment any day between Monday and Friday at a time designated by the Employer between the hours of 0900 and 1700. There shall be no deduction of wages or fringe benefits because of time spent by the Union representative during these sessions. New employees shall receive regular wages while attending at these sessions, but regular wages shall be limited to and shall not include any overtime even in cases in which the session is scheduled outside of and in addition to the scheduled work of the employees.
