Furlough Leave. An employee who, on the day that this Agreement i s signed, i s entitled to receive furlough leave, that i s to say, five (5) weeks' leave with pay upon completing twenty (20) years of continuous employment, retains his entitlement to furlough leave subject to the conditions respecting the granting of such leave that are i n force on the day that this Agreement i s signed. Furlough Leave. Every employee who was an employee in the Public Service, as these words are defined in the Public Service Staff Relations Act, on or before the 1st day of April and who has not been granted the whole or any part of five (5) weeks' leave of absence with pay prior to the date on which this Agreement is signed is entitled to the lesser of five (5) weeks' leave of absence with pay or the part of five (5) weeks' leave of absence with pay that has not been granted to on the day on which this Agreement is signed, on completion of twenty (20) years' continuous employment on or before the day of March The scheduling and granting of furlough leave must be authorized in advance by the Council before such leave is taken. The scheduling and granting of furlough leave shall be so arranged as to adequately meet the operational requirements of a work group, Section, Branch or Institute and subject to such prior approval by the Council, an employee may take furlough leave at one time, or in short periods at different times to the extent of furlough leave credits. Granting of Vacation Leave Both parties agree that although vacation leave credits are earned as a matter of right, the scheduling and granting of such leave must be authorized in advance by the Council before such leave is taken. The scheduling and granting of vacation leave should be so arranged as to adequately meet the operational requirements of the Council and, subject to said operational requirements, an employee may during the first six (6) calendar months of employment be granted vacation leave up to the amount of earned credits; after the first six (6) calendar months of employment be granted vacation leave in excess of the earned credits but only to the extent of credits that would accumulate to the end of the fiscal year concerned. However, if an employee has used more vacation leave than has earned and services are terminated for a reason other than death, or lay-off with two (2) or more years of continuous service, the salary overpayment resulting from the use of unearned vacation leave shall be recovered from the employee by the Council. The Council shall give an employee as much notice as practicable and reasonable of approval, disapproval or cancellation of a request for vacation or furlough leave. Furlough Leave. For 2010, twenty-four (24) hours shall be returned to the County from each employee through personal leave, vacation, compensatory time, or unpaid hours. Employees shall select how the time will be returned.

Furlough Leave. 14.01 a) Xxxxxxxx Leave credits shall be calculated from the date of employment with the Employer including service within the Alliance, other Components, or any predecessor organization and shall be taken into account in determining credits for Xxxxxxxx Leave.
Furlough Leave. Furlough Leave. This is a variation to your contract of employment and is designed to implement the UK Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (“the Scheme”). We agree that from [DATE] you will be on Furlough Leave. This means that your contract of employment continues, but you are not required to do any work. We will continue to pay you 80% of your usual salary, (subject to a maximum of £2,500 per month) and will pay employer’s National Insurance contributions and employer’s pension contributions during the time that the Scheme is operational. Your Furlough Leave will end on the earliest of the following events:- the Scheme ending; either you or us ceasing to be eligible for funding under the Scheme; or the congregation deciding to cancel your Furlough Leave and bring you back to work. During your Furlough Leave, you may not do any work for us. If you do, you must tell us, and you may be liable to repay any sums we have paid you under the Scheme if we become liable to repay it to the Government. When your Furlough Leave ends, while we will always endeavour to provide you with work, in the event of insufficient work being available you agree that we are entitled to place you on short time or lay you off without any pay except for statutory guarantee payments.
