ZEC definition

ZEC has the meaning provided in the CES Order.
ZEC means a credit for the zero-emissions attributes of one (1) MWh of electric energy production by an eligible Zero Carbon Electric Generating Facility, such as the Facility, represented by a Certificate, which credit is purchased by NYSERDA or a LSE from Seller to reduce carbon consumption by retail electric consumers in New York State, such purchases to be accomplished through NYGATS pursuant to the NYGATS Operating Rules. Article II
ZEC means a zone executive committee representing several conservation districts in a geographic area consisting of one member from each of the conservation districts in that zone to coordinate ARDL activities.

  • The number of Shares authorized shall be unlimited, and the Shares so authorized may be represented in part by fractional Shares, calculated to one one-hundred-millionth of one ZEC (i.e., carried to the eighth decimal place).

  • The Trust shall not engage in any business activity and shall not acquire or own any assets other than (i) ZEC, (ii) Incidental Rights, (iii) (if permissible under Section 1.5(b) and Section 6.4(m)) IR Virtual Currency and (iv) cash from the sale of any of the foregoing or take any of the actions set forth in Section 6.4. The Trust shall have all of the powers specified in Section 3.1 hereof as powers which may be exercised by a Sponsor on behalf of the Trust under this Trust Agreement.

  • The Trust shall not be responsible for any fees and expenses incurred by the Sponsor to convert ZEC received in payment of the Sponsor’s Fee into U.S. Dollars.

  • The amount of ZEC payable in respect of each daily U.S. Dollar accrual shall be determined by reference to the same Reference Rate Price used to determine such accrual.

ZEC means a tradable credit that represents the environmental attributes of one megawatt hour (“MWh”) of energy produced from a Zero Emission Facility. For purposes of this ZEC Contract, a ZEC shall mean an Emission Free Energy Certificate, if issued by PJM EIS GATS, or, in the event that the IPA issues a Tracking System Change Notice, an equivalent instrument issued by a Tracking System other than PJM EIS GATS. The definition ofRenewable Energy Facility” in Section 1.55 is replaced in its entirety with the following:

ZEC means a controlled zone, other than a salmon fishing ZEC or a wildfowl hunting ZEC, established for the purposes of hunting and fishing, in accordance with section 104 of the Act; (ZEC)
ZEC means Zcash, a type of virtual currency based on an open source cryptographic protocol existing on the Zcash Network as determined by the Sponsor in accordance with Section 6.2(m), and the assets underlying the Trust’s Shares.
ZEC means a controlled zone established for the purposes of wildfowl hunting in accordance with sec- tion 104 of the Act respecting the conservation and development of wildlife. (ZEC)
ZEC means a controlled zone established for the purposes of salmon fishing in accordance with section 104 of the Act. (ZEC)
