Work Costs definition

Work Costs means, subject to §5.3 and the exclusion of the License Fees, all expenditures and costs incurred by the Optionee relating directly or indirectly to the Property including all expenditures and costs incurred: (a) in doing geophysical, geochemical, land, airborne, environmental and geological examinations, assessments, assays, audits and surveys; (b) in linecutting, mapping, trenching and staking; (c) in searching for, digging, trucking, sampling, working, developing, mining and extracting ores, minerals and metals; (d) in conducting diamond and other drilling; (e) in obtaining, providing, installing and erecting mining, milling and other treatment plant, ancillary facilities, buildings, machinery, tools, appliances and equipment; (f) in constructing access roads and other facilities on or for the benefit of the Property or any part thereof (g) in transporting personnel, supplies, mining, milling and other treatment plant, ancillary facilities, buildings, machinery, tools, appliances and equipment in, to or from the Property or any part thereof (h) in paying reasonable wages and salaries (including “fringe benefits”, but excluding home office costs) of personnel directly engaged in performing work on or with respect to the Property; (i) in paying assessments and contributions under applicable employment legislation relating to workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance and other applicable legislation relating to such personnel; (j) in supplying food, lodging and other reasonable needs for such personnel; (k) in obtaining and maintaining any insurance; (1) in obtaining legal, accounting, consulting and other contract and professional services or facilities relating to work performed or to be performed hereunder, all at fair market value competitive rates; (m) in paying any taxes, fees, charges, payments and rentals (including payments made in lieu of assessment work) or otherwise incurred to transfer the Property or. any part thereof or interest therein pursuant to this Agreement and to keep the Property or any part thereof in good standing; (n) in paying any non-refundable harmonized sales tax and social services tax and all other taxes charged on expenditures made or incurred by the Optionee relating directly or indirectly to the Property; (o) in acquiring access and surface rights to the Property; (p) in carrying out any negotiations and preparing, settling and executing any Agreements and other documents relating to environmental or indigenous peo...
Work Costs means the incurred project costs of the Municipality which are eligible for Award under this Agreement from the County, which are reasonable, necessary and allocable by the Municipality to the Work under generally accepted governmental accounting standards.
Work Costs means the incurred project costs of the Subrecipient which are eligible for Subaward from the County, which are reasonable, necessary and allocable by the Subrecipient to the Work under generally accepted governmental accounting standards.

Examples of Work Costs in a sentence

  • The Municipality shall complete the Work and pay such portion of the Work Costs in excess of the Award, and the Municipality shall not be entitled to any reimbursement or funding therefore from the County.

  • The Estimated Work Costs as shown in EXHIBIT A represent a reasonable estimate of the costs actually incurred or expected to be incurred for the Work.

  • The Municipality’s Award was determined based on the Municipality’s Estimated Work Costs as set forth in EXHIBIT A.

Work Costs means all costs incurred and paid by Settling Work
Work Costs means all costs including all reasonable payments, expenses, obligations and liabilities of whatsoever kind or nature made or incurred, directly or indirectly, by Optionor which relate directly to the exploration, evaluation, development and operation of the Claims or any portion thereof excluding any management fees during the earn-in period but including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, monies expended: (a) to determine the existence, location, extent or quality of a mineral resource on the Property; (b) to carry out any survey or do any geophysical, geochemical or geological work or drilling, assaying, testing or bulk sampling on the Claims; (c) to pay for taxes, fees, charges, rentals (d) to pay the fees, wages, salaries, travelling expenses and fringe benefits of persons engaged in work in respect of or for the benefit of the Claims or any portion thereof and in paying for the food, lodging and other reasonable needs of such persons. For greater certainty, the option payment made hereunder, shall be excluded from the definition of "Expenditures".
Work Costs means: (a) all design and engineering fees incurred in connection with the preparation and review of the Construction Documents and any space plan and other plans in connection therewith (including the cost of Landlord's consulting architect, engineers and other consultants); (b) costs of permits, fees and taxes; (c) architect's fees; (d) the actual hard and soft costs and charges for material and labor, contractor's profit and contractor's general overhead incurred in connection with the Tenant Improvements constructed; (e) fees to Landlord for supervision of the construction of the Tenant Improvements; and (f) screening.
Work Costs means all costs including all reasonable payments, expenses, obligations and liabilities of whatsoever kind or nature made or incurred, directly or indirectly, by Optionee which relate directly to the exploration, evaluation, development and operation of the Claims or any portion thereof including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, monies expended: (a) to determine the existence, location, extent or quality of a mineral resource on the Property; (b) to carry out any survey or do any geophysical, geochemical or geological work or drilling, assaying, testing or bulk sampling on the Claims; (c) to pay for taxes, fees, charges, rentals (d) to pay the fees, wages, salaries, traveling expenses and fringe benefits of persons engaged in work in respect of or for the benefit of the Claims or any portion thereof and in paying for the food, lodging and other reasonable needs of such persons. For greater certainty, the option payments set out in Section 4.2(a) shall be excluded from the definition of "Work Costs".
Work Costs with respect to Tenant's Work, means the sum of the actual costs and charges incurred pursuant to the Construction Contract, including any change orders thereto. Upon Landlord's receipt thereof, Landlord shall deliver to Tenant copies of all draw requests prepared by General Contractor (the "Work Cost Report"). When and if applicable, the Work Cost report shall be accompanied by an invoice from Landlord for the amount due from Tenant for Work Costs in excess of unused Tenant Credit.
Work Costs means: (a) the reasonable cost of space planning, architectural and engineering services, including, but not limited to reimbursable costs; (b) costs of permits, fees and taxes (exclusive of real property taxes); (c) inspecting costs; (d) the actual costs and charges for material and labor in constructing the Improvements; (e) Landlord's Contractor's fee for profit, overhead and general conditions (including utilities, insurance, construction supervision, trash removal and clean-up).
Work Costs means only those costs incurred by City to perform and implement the Agency-Directed Work, as set forth in Exhibit E – Contractors’ Estimates.
