In the event of there being a difference of opinion between the Member” and “The Authority” as to whether or not all windstorm losses sustained by the “Member” during an elected period of seventy-two (72) hours arose out of, or was caused by a single atmospheric disturbance, the stated opinion of the National Weather Service or comparable Authority in any other country or locality shall govern as to whether or not a single atmospheric disturbance continued throughout the period at the location(s) involved.

windstorm means wind, wind gust, hail, rain, snow or sleet caused by or resulting from a “hurricane”, tropical storm” or a tornado or cyclone originating from either. This includes loss or damages to the inside of a building or the property inside a building caused by rain, snow, sleet, hail and or dust, if the direct force of the wind during a "“hurricane or tropical storm occurrence” damages the building, causing an opening in a roof or wall and the rain, snow, sleet, hail, sand or dust enters through this opening. It also includes loss or damage caused by wind-driven objects during a “hurricane or tropical storm occurrence”.
