VOD means video on demand.
VOD means video on demand;
VOD means distribution of content in a manner in which the end user pays a transactional fee to access an individual program or package of such programs consisting solely or primarily of content that is exhibited on a video-on-demand basis, which access is limited to a specific and limited viewing period.

VOD means the delivery (which in the case of Licensee’s rights hereunder shall be point-to-point delivery) of a single program to a viewer in response to the request of a viewer (a) for which the viewer pays a per-transaction fee solely for the privilege of viewing one or more exhibitionseach separate exhibition of such program over a limited viewing period designated by the content provider or distributor (which in the case of Licensee hereunder shall not exceed the Viewing Period), as opposed to the viewer ( or multiple exhibitions of such program, each commencing during such limited viewing period), (which fee in the case of Licensee’s rights hereunder shall not exceed the Viewing Period), which fee is unaffected in any way by the purchase of other programs, products or services, but not referring to any fee in the nature of an equipment rental or purchase fee; and (b) the exhibition start time of which is at a time specified by the viewer in its discretion. With respect to Licensee’s rights hereunder, neither the fact that a single program may be delivered so that it is coincidentally received by more than one viewer nor Licensee’s distribution or transmission of Included Programs utilizing approved “peer-to-peer” file sharing technology shall render such delivery to be other than “point-to-point” (“peer-to-peer” file sharing technology shall be deemed approved if the “peer-to-peer” network used for such purpose (x) is at all times a closed delivery system controlled by Licensee, and (y) does not import or protect content from untrusted sources). “Video-On-Demand” shall not include operating on a subscription basis (including, without limitation, so-called “subscription video-on-demand”) or a negative option basis (i.e., a fee arrangement whereby a consumer is charged alone, or in any combination, a service charge, a separate video-on-demand charge or other charge but is entitled to a reduction or series of reductions thereto on a program-by program basis if such consumer affirmatively elects not to receive or have available for reception such program), nor shall “Video-On-Demand” include, without limitation, pay-per-view, DHEso-called electronic sell through, Home Theater, manufacture-on-demand or retail location-based download on demand (e.g., download via in- store kiosks), home video, premium pay television, basic television or free broadcast television exhibition.
VOD means a system that allows for the exhibition of video programming chosen by a subscriber for display on that subscriber’s video display unit on an on-demand basis, such that a subscriber is able, at his or her discretion, to select the time for commencement of exhibition, and shall include subscription VOD (“SVOD”), transactional VOD (“TVOD”), ad-supported VOD (“AVOD”) and free VOD.
VOD or “TVOD” or “PPV” means the delivery and exhibition of a motion picture, television show or other entertainment product, where the timing of same is either (a) in the case of PPV, scheduled or pre-determined and not at the consumer’s discretion, or (b) in the case of VOD or TVOD, the timing of same is not scheduled or pre-determined but rather at the consumer’s discretion, in all cases, for which a transactional charge is assessed to the consumer for the privilege of viewing each separate exhibition of such motion picture, television show or other entertainment product (or multiple exhibition of such motion picture, television show or other entertainment product over a limited viewing period), in all cases which is not primarily advertising supported (and in any event, no advertising shall interrupt any content during the exhibition thereof). Each of VOD, TVOD and PPV does not include SVOD and shall not include delivery or exhibition for which the consumer is charged a “club” or other similar “access” fee (which fee shall not, for purposes of this definition, be deemed to include any basic cable, digital/data plan, equipment rental fee or Internet access fee) for the privilege of being able to view motion pictures, television shows or other entertainment products via VOD/TVOD/PPV unless such “club” or similar access fee is non-creditable against, and/or does not subsidize or otherwise affect the retail price for any per-exhibition consumer transaction fees and provided that in all events is a charge that is more than merely a fee to gain access to the VOD/TVOD/PPV programs alone. VOD/TVOD/PPV does not include programming offered on an FVOD/AVOD, SVOD, Subscription Pay TV, Basic TV or Free TV basis, and any per-transaction or per-view offering bundled with a SVOD or FVOD/AVOD proposition, and not part of a wider Subscription Pay TV service, for which the full a la carte per-transaction/per-view retail pricing of the program on such per-transaction/per-view offering is impacted by such bundle relative to the per-transaction/per-view retail price for such program on the same platform’s VOD/TVOD/PPV service that is not bundled with an SVOD or FVOD/AVOD proposition, would not qualify as VOD/TVOD/PPV hereunder.
VOD means the mode of distributing audio-visual content whereby access to the programs is provided to a consumer who has requested that item of content, for repeated private viewing by the consumer during a finite period only, where a discrete fee is required to be paid for such access.ATTACHMENT B TVOD TERMSThese special terms for TVOD (the “TVOD Terms”) apply for the distribution of Licensed Content via TVOD.
VOD means the exhibition of a single program for Personal Use in response to the request of a viewer (i) for which the viewer pays a fee solely for the privilege of viewing each separate exhibition of such program (or multiple exhibitions, each commencing during its Viewing Period), including by way of redemption of gift certificates (or other similar instruments) that have been paid for by cash consideration, which fee is unaffected in any way by the purchase of other programs, products or services, (ii) the exhibition start time of which is at a time specified by the viewer in its sole discretion, (iii) which is susceptible of and intended for viewing by such viewer simultaneously with the delivery of such program for viewing during its Viewing Period, and (iv) which is displayed on a video monitor or television set associated with or transmitted by the Approved Device that received delivery of such program from the service provider. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, “Video-On-Demand” shall not include operating on a subscription basis (including, without limitation, so-called “subscription video-on-demand” and club fees, access fees, monthly service fees or similar fees for general access to the Service (whether direct or indirect)) or a negative option basis (i.e., a fee arrangement whereby a consumer is charged alone, or in any combination, a service charge, a separate video-on-demand charge or other charge but is entitled to a reduction or series of reductions thereto on a program-by program basis if such consumer affirmatively elects not to receive or have available for reception such program). “Video-On-Demand” shall not include pay-per-view, digital electronic sale/sell-through, Non-Theatrical, Home Theater, on demand retention licensing, premium pay television, basic television or free broadcast television exhibition. Video-On-Demand shall not preclude VCR Functionality. For purposes of clarification, the parties hereto acknowledge and understand that “Video-On-Demand” shall not preclude, restrict or otherwise interfere with Amazon’s right (A) to determine the Customer Price for each Included Program hereunder as set forth in Section 8.5; or (B) to offer discount promotions in which a Customer Price of some amount is charged to Customers for an Included Program in conjunction with other digital content that is made available on the Service to Customers, with CDD’s prior consent.
VOD means the point-to-point electronic delivery of a single audio-visual program from a remote source to a customer in response to such customer’s request (a) for which the customer is charged a material per-transaction fee solely for the privilege of viewing each separate exhibition of such program during the VOD Viewing Period (or multiple exhibitions of such program, each commencing during the VOD Viewing Period), which fee is unaffected in any way by the purchase of other programs, products or services, but not referring to any fee in the nature of an equipment rental or purchase fee or activation or installation fee; and (b) the exhibition start time of which is at a time specified by the customer in its discretion. Video-On-Demand shall not include, without limitation, SVOD, free or advertiser-supported video-on-demand, pay-per-view, electronic sell-through, manufacture-on-demand, in-store digital download (i.e., kiosks), home video, premium pay television, basic television or free broadcast television exhibition.

For the avoidance of doubt, a single Video-On-Demand exhibition that commences during a VOD Included Program’s VOD Viewing Period may play-off for the uninterrupted duration of such VOD Included Program. “Video-On-Demand” shall not include operating on a subscription basis (including, without limitation, so-called “subscription video-on-demand”), nor shall “Video-On-Demand” include pay-per-view, DHE, premium pay television, basic television or free broadcast television exhibition.
