U.S. Citizen means a person who is a “citizen of the United States” within the meaning of the ▇▇▇▇▇ Act, eligible and qualified to own and operate U.S.-flag vessels in the U.S. Coastwise Trade.

U.S. Citizen means the student must be either a United States citizen or a permanent resident alien. If the student is not a United States citizen, but a permanent resident alien, the student must attach a copy of the permanent resident alien form I 151, I 551, I 94, or G 641 to the application.

With respect to a limited liability company, a “U.S. Citizen” shall mean an entity that meets the requirements of subclause (b) above, and, if the limited liability company has a chief financial officer, by whatever title, or a board of directors, then it shall also meet such relevant requirements of subclause (e) above.
