Underlying Asset definition

Underlying Asset means the object or underlying asset in a CFD which may be Currency Pairs (for FX Contracts), Equity Indices, base or precious Metals, Forwards, Commodities, Stocks, Shares Indices and Futures. It is understood that the list is subject to change and Clients must refer each time on the Trading Platform.
Underlying Asset means property of any description (including a currency or currency pair) or an index or other factor designated in a CFD Transaction to which reference is made to fluctuations in the value or price for the purpose of determining profits or losses under the CFD Transaction;
Underlying Asset means the financial instrument (e.g., stock, futures, commodity, currency, index) on which a derivative's price is based.

Examples of Underlying Asset in a sentence

  • Essential Details shall mean the required details in order for the Company to be able to place the Order for example but not limited to the type of Financial Instrument, the type of Order, type of Underlying Asset, if the Client places a Pending Order (limit or stop) the Client will indicate the intended price in which the Order will go in the market and any Stop Loss and or Take Profit etc.

  • Lot shall mean a unit measuring the Transaction amount specified for each Underlying Asset of a CFD.

  • Quote shall mean the information of the current price for a specific Underlying Asset, in the form ofthe Bid and Ask prices.

  • For example, with respect to a Stop Loss Order, in the case of a Buy, the price of an Underlying Asset underlying such Order may suddenly decrease below the Stop Loss price, without ever reaching such price.

  • Although the term FX / FX Contract is a type of a Contract for Difference, it is mentioned separately to mean the type of CFD where the Underlying Asset is a Currency Pair.
