Ullage definition

Ullage means the maximum storage tank capacity, in gallons, minus the gallons of gasoline present in the tank.
Ullage means the depth of space above the free surface of the liquid to the reference datum of that tank.

Ullage means the empty volume of a gasoline storage tank system that contains liquid gasoline. Ullage is expressed as accumulated gallons of empty volume for all of the gasoline storage tanks in a manifolded system.
