UCITS Scheme definition

UCITS Scheme means a scheme that falls within the definition of a “UCITS Scheme” contained in the FCA Glossary
UCITS Scheme means a scheme constituted in accordance with the UCITS Directive (a European Directive relating to undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities which has been adopted in the UK). "UCITS Directive" means the European Parliament and Council Directive of 13 July 2009 on the coordination of laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to undertakings for collective investments in transferable securities (UCITS) (No. 2009/65/EC) as amended. "Valuation Point" means the point on a Dealing Day whether on a periodic basis or for a particular valuation, at which the ACD carries out a valuation of the Scheme Property for the Company or a Sub-fund (as the case may be) for the purpose of determining the price at which Shares of a Class may be issued, cancelled or redeemed. The current Valuation Point is 12 noon London time on each Dealing Day. "VAT" means value added tax.
UCITS Scheme means a collective investment scheme which is already authorized under the relevant national legislation of a member state of the European Union implementing the “Council Directive 85/611/EC of 20 December 1985 on the coordination of laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS)” (as amended).
