Tardiness definition

Tardiness means the student arrives to his/her assigned homeroom/class period after the bell rings without approval.
Tardiness means arriving after the designated starting time.

More Definitions of Tardiness

Tardiness means the failure to report to work at the scheduled start time and/or failure to return to work promptly at any point during the normal workday (e.g., lunch, breaks, and the like). For purposes of this regulation, “report to work at the scheduled start time” means reporting to the location where assigned duties are to be performed and not merely signing or clocking in. For example, a teacher who is assigned to take charge of students at XX a.m. must be in the designated classroom or at the designated place of assignment not later than that time, regardless of the time the teacher signed in.
