Tahsildar definition

Tahsildar means the Tahsildar of a revenue taluk;

Tahsildar means the Tahsildar in whose jurisdiction the wet land is situate and includes a Deputy Tahsildar in independent charge of a taluk or sub-taluk and any other officer of the Revenue Department not below the rank of a Deputy Tahsildar empowered by the Government to exercise the powers and perform the functions of the Tahsildar under this Act;

• In respect of candidates belonging to Backward classes are required to produce Community Certificate (BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D & BC-E) from competent authority i.e., from Tahsildar in the State of Telangana not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar.
