Superfund definition

Superfund means the United States Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, 42 U.S.C. Sections 6901 et seq., as amended.
Superfund means the “Hazardous Substance Superfund” established by 26 U.S.C. § 9507 or, in the event such Hazardous Substance Superfund no longer exists, any successor fund or comparable account of the Treasury of the United States to be used for removal or remedial actions to address releases or threats of releases of hazardous substances.
Superfund or "Superlien" statutes, (d) any rules or regulations promulgated under or adopted pursuant to the above federal and state laws; and (e) any other equivalent federal, state or local statute or any requirement, rule, regulation, code, ordinance or order adopted pursuant thereto, including, without limitation, those relating to the generation, transportation, treatment, storage, recycling, disposal, handling or release of Hazardous Substances.

As used in this definition, the word "on" when used with respect to the Leased Premises or adjacent property means "on, in, under, above or about."
