Subvendor definition

Subvendor means an individual, firm, partnership or corporation having a direct contract with the Vendor or another Subvendor to perform a part or parts of the Work.

Subvendor means one not in the employment of the VENDOR, who is performing all or part of those services under this contract under a separate contract with the VENDOR. The terms "SUBVENDOR" and "SUBVENDORS" means SUBVENDOR(s) in any tier.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Agreement, Subcontractor shall not disclose or allow access to any EMC Personal Information to any third party without the prior written consent of EMC. If Subcontractor receives a request from a third party in connection with any government investigation or court proceeding that Subcontractor believes would require it to produce any EMC Personal Information, then Subcontractor shall not disclose such information, immediately notify EMC in writing of such request, and fully cooperate with EMC if EMC wishes to limit, challenge or protect against such disclosure, to the extent permitted by applicable law or regulation. Subcontractor shall not engage in any activity relating to the Subcontracted Services or the Processing of EMC Personal Information that would place EMC in violation of any applicable laws, regulations, government request, or judicial process.
