Substance definition

Substance means any natural or artificial substance, whether in solid or liquid form or in the form of a gas or vapour;
Substance means any natural or artificial substance, whether solid, liquid, gas or vapour;

  • Company, its officers, agents, servants, employees, invitees, independent contractors, successors, and assigns will not discharge or spill any Hazardous Substance, as defined herein, into any component of the storm drainage system or onto any paved or unpaved area within the boundaries of the Airport.

  • At a minimum, such vendor will be certified by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), or certified by a DHHS recognized certification program, or Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA), or certified by a SAMHSA-recognized certified program or any other future named agency that has jurisdiction over such standards.

Substance means a chemical element and its compounds in the natural state or obtained by any manufacturing process, including any additive necessary to preserve its stability and any impurity deriving from the process used, but excluding any solvent which may be separated without affecting the stability of the substance or changing its composition;
