Subject Vehicles definition

Subject Vehicles means: (i) the “2.0 Liter Subject Vehicles,” as defined in the First Partial Consent Decree in In re: Volkswagen “Clean Diesel” Marketing, Sales Practices, and Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2672 CRB (JSC) (Dkt. No. 2103-1); and (ii) the “3.0 Liter Subject Vehicles,” as defined in the Second Partial Consent Decree in that case (Dkt. No. 3228-1).
Subject Vehicles means the GM vehicles subject to the Recalls as defined by the VINs provided by New GM to the Class Action Settlement Administrator and which are comprised of the following GM vehicles:
Subject Vehicles means those Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles that are listed in Exhibit 10.

Examples of Subject Vehicles in a sentence

  • The Parties recognize, and the Court by entering this Consent Decree finds, that the United States and CARB are not issuing new Certificates of Conformity or Executive Orders, respectively, for the Subject Vehicles, nor are they revoking the existing Certificates of 4 Conformity or Executive Orders for the Subject Vehicles.

  • Provided, however, that solely for the purpose of this Consent Decree, the specially defined term “Undisclosed AECD” shall not include: (1) the Alternative NOx Conversion Target Table AECD disclosed in Cummins’ December 21, 2022, supplemental AECD disclosure for MY 2023 Subject Vehicles; and (2) prior versions or iterations of the Alternative NOx Conversion Target Table AECD previously installed in other Subject Vehicles.

  • Based on information and submissions provided by Cummins, EPA and CARB annually certified that the software configurations/calibrations installed in the Subject Vehicles complied with the requirements of the Act and, as to CARB, also with California law.

  • The California Complaint alleges, among other things, that the Subject Vehicles sold or distributed in California contain undisclosed AECDs and/or prohibited Defeat Devices, and undisclosed running changes and field fixes, in violation of California law, and that some have resulted in increased NOx emissions from each Subject Vehicle in excess of California limits.


More Definitions of Subject Vehicles

Subject Vehicles means any vehicles identified in Appendix A that were sold or offered for sale in (or introduced or delivered for introduction into commerce in) the United States and that are or were purported to have been covered by the EPA test groups listed in Appendix A, including such vehicles sub-categorized as 2013-2019 RAMs and 2019-2023 RAMs.
Subject Vehicles means a “Subject Vehicle” as defined in the US-CA Consent Decree, which includes the diesel vehicles listed in the table below.
Subject Vehicles means all vehicles purchased or leased in Canada that contain defective low-pressure fuel pumps designed and manufactured by the DENSO Defendants including, but not limited to, the following vehicles known at present to be:
Subject Vehicles means the 2.0 Liter Subject Vehicles and 3.0 Liter Subject Vehicles.
Subject Vehicles means those Volkswagen vehicles listed on Exhibit 9 that contain or contained Takata PSAN inflators in their driver or passenger frontal airbags that (1) have been recalled, or (ii) shall be recalled per the May 5, 2020 agreement between NHTSA and Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. regarding Takata SDI-D inflators, as indicated in Exhibit 10 to the Settlement Agreement.
Subject Vehicles means those vehicles that were identified as part of the Recall4, all of which are equipped with Denso low-pressure fuel pumps with part number prefixes 23220- and/or 23221-, and/or are recalled vehicles that are listed in the chart below:
Subject Vehicles means those Toyota vehicles listed on Exhibit 2 that contain or contained ZF-TRW ACUs and were distributed for sale or lease in the United States or any of its territories or possessions.
