Street trees shall be trimmed to allow easy free passage along the sidewalk or roadway.
Plants which have been determined by the State and/or Purchaser to have suffered damage for the following reasons will be rejected: Street trees with improperly pruned, broken, or damaged branches, trunk, or root structure Girdling of the roots, stem, or a major branch, Deformities of the stem or major branches, Lack of symmetry, Dead or defoliated tops or branches, and Defects, injury, and condition which renders the plant unsuitable for its intended use.
