Standing Charge definition

Standing Charge means a fixed charge per day applied to Non-Domestic Customers which seeks to recover some of Irish Water’s fixed costs associated with providing Water Supply.
Standing Charge means the fees to be levied by the Contractor for the provision of the Service as specified in this Contract for each day of a Service Period.
Standing Charge means the fixed charge per day as set out overleaf. ‘Supply Date’ means the date on which the supply of Gas commences. ‘Supply Period’ means the initial period commencing on the Supply Date or the Installation Date whichever is the earlier and ending after such period as defined under Supply Period as set out in the Contract Details or any new period as set out in the Renewal Agreement.

Examples of Standing Charge in a sentence

  • The Contract Price shall remain the same for each Supply Period (save for an increase as a result of an increase in charges made by the Transporter or as provided for by clauses 2.12, 5.4, 7.4 or any other relevant clause of this Agreement or any variation to the Standing Charge) and no other material changes to the Contract Details or the Renewal Agreement or these Terms and Conditions will be made without the consent of the Customer.

  • Energia shall be entitled to vary the Standing Charge and/or any other cost or charge component of the Supply Price from time to time to reflect any change in Law or as a result of any action by the Government, a Regulatory Authority, a Relevant System Operator or otherwise, including but not limited to any changes in third party charges incurred by Energia in connection with the supply of Energy under this Agreement and/or any changed or discontinued rebates.

  • The rates for Your Standing Charge and Your Variable Charge (as revised) will then apply from and including the commencement of the Contract Year for the remainder of that Contract Year.

  • The Standing Charge will be calculated as set out in Schedule 1 (Charges) and may be varied from time to time in accordance with this agreement and the Customer Service Charter.


More Definitions of Standing Charge

Standing Charge means the fixed monthly fee payable by the Customer to Frontline for the provision of the Service.
Standing Charge means the charge specified as such in the Energy Supply Contract as may be varied in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

Standing Charge means the daily fixed charge (expressed as £x.xx per day unless stated otherwise) as set out in the Contract Details, Renewal Details, Out of Contract Rate or Deemed Contract Rate (as the case may be).
Standing Charge means the daily or monthly charge for making the Services available at the Premises. The Daily Standing Charge will be as set out in the Commercial Schedule; the Monthly Standing Charge will be communicated to you once we become aware that the Services are not in use in accordance with Clause 8.4.2.
Standing Charge means the daily fixed charge (expressed as £x.xx per day unless stated otherwise) as set out in the Contract Details, Renewal Details, Out of Contract Rate or Deemed Contract Rate (as the case may be). For the avoidance of doubt, more than one Standing Charge may apply depending upon Product Type.
