An Employee meeting the eligibility requirements shall be allowed to participate in the Flexible Spending plan on the first day of employment and has up to 30 days from date of hire to enroll.
Spending plan updates cover two fiscal years (current fiscal year and following fiscal year).
Upon appropriate written authorization from the Employee, the Board shall deduct from the salary of any Employee and make appropriate remittance for annuities, credit union, banks, savings bonds, United Fund, prorated premium of Board approved fringe benefits for partial payment contributed by an Employee, IRS Section 125 Flexible Spending plan allowance, MIP deduction, TDP and Association service fees.
