Special fuels definition

Special fuels means all combustible liquids suitable for the generation of power for the propulsion of motor vehicles including, but not limited to, diesel fuel, alcohol and such fuels not defined under the motor-vehicle fuels definition, hereinafter referred to as motor-vehicle fuel;
Special fuels means and includes all combustible gases and liquids capable of being used for the generation of power in an internal combustion engine to propel vehicles of any kind upon the public highways, including diesel fuel, and dyed diesel fuel used exclusively for nonhighway purposes in off-highway equipment and in nonlicensed motor vehicles, except that it does not include gasoline, aviation jet fuel, kerosene unless used wholly or in combination with special fuel as a motor fuel, or liquefied petroleum gas as defined in KRS 234.100;
Special fuels means and includes all combustible gases and liquids used or suitable for use in an internal combustion engine or motor for the generation of power for motor vehicles, except such fuels as are subject to the tax imposed by Part I of Chapter 7 of Title 47 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950.
