SONIA rate definition

SONIA rate means, in respect of a London Business Day, the effective reference rate equal to the overnight interest rate (published as a percentage to four decimal places) calculated by the Wholesale Market Bankers’ Association as a weighted average of all overnight unsecured lending transactions in Sterling in the interbank market, initiated within London by the contributing panel banks which appears on the Relevant Screen Page as of 7.00 p.m. (Central European time) on such London Business Day, all as determined by the Calculation Agent.
SONIA rate means, in respect of any London Business Day, a reference rate equal to the daily Sterling Overnight Index Average rate for such London Business Day, as provided by the administrator of SONIA to authorised distributors and as then published on the Relevant Screen Page (or, if the Relevant Screen Page is unavailable, as otherwise published by such authorised distributors) on the London Business Day immediately following such London Business Day; and
SONIA rate means a rate computed by the Benchmark Administrator or its agent with respect to SONIA on a particular business day.
