All successful Bidder’s drivers shall be properly licensed and adequately trained by the successful Bidder and shall comply with all rules at the Miami County Transfer Station, and on the road between the Miami County Transfer Station and any Solid Waste Management Facility.
Therefore, the successful Bidder shall haul full transfer trailers to the Solid Waste Management Facility and return empty transfer trailers to the Miami County Transfer Station in a timely manner so as not to impede Transfer Station loading operations by causing delay or overtime for Miami County employees due to the unavailability of empty transfer trailers.
In case any alternated Solid Waste Management Facility must be used, the successful Bidder shall be responsible for paying any costs incurred by the Board for disposal at such alternate facility, including but not limited to additional transfer costs, legal expenses, or overtime expenses.
Board personnel will weigh the trailers both before and after each loading and supply weight tickets for the successful Bidder and for submission to the Solid Waste Management Facility.
The specific Solid Waste Management Facility or facilities to which the municipal solid waste will be transported and disposed shall be identified in the Bid submitted to the Board.
