Sideground definition
Sideground indicates all the knowledge and information as well as all intangible goods protected in accordance with national, EC and international regulations regarding intellectual and industrial property, implemented or, nevertheless, achieved by a party during the validity of this Contract, but not during the execution thereof.
Sideground means the results, including data, know how and information, whether or not they can be protected, which are generated by a participant under the project but outside of the project objectives and which are not needed for undertaking and completing the project or the research use of foreground;
Sideground means tangible or intangible output generated by a Beneficiary under the Action, such as data, knowledge and information, whatever its form or nature, whether or not it can be protected, but which is outside of the Action Objectives3 as defined in the Grant Agreement and which therefore is not needed for implementing the Action or for Research Use of Results.

Each Party will have the right to make its Background and Sideground available to the PhD student on a non-exclusive and free basis, as strictly necessary for carrying out the activities covered by the agreement and clearly identified as such.

Sideground means Technology and Patent Rights made or conceived as a result of projects carried out separately from the Development Program after the Effective Date, regardless of whether they are a consequence (including improvement) of work carried out under the Development Program.

Sideground intellectual property and other intangible assets protected under ▇▇▇▇▇ (Law) no. 633/1941, as amended and supplemented, designs and models, inventions, utility models, topographies of semiconductor products, confidential information, plant varieties and any other intangible asset protected under d.lgs. (Legislative Decree) no. 30/2005, as amended and supplemented, as well as any other intangible asset protected under national, EU and international legislation on intellectual and industrial property, and any unprotected knowledge and information, if made or otherwise obtained by a Party during the period of effectiveness of this agreement but not in the performance thereof, even if they fall within the same technical or scientific field covered by this agreement;
Sideground means information, other than Foreground, developed or otherwise acquired by a Party after the commencement date of the ICON project as well as copyright or other Intellectual Property Rights regarding this information, and which has been explicitly introduced by this Party in a way that another Party will need this information for the implementation of the ICON project or for the Use of the Foreground.
Sideground means any data, know-how or information — whatever its form or nature (tangible or intangible), including any attached rights such as intellectual property rights (‘sideground IPRs’) — that is generated during the timespan of the PCP but not in the PCP and is needed to implement the PCP or to exploit the results of the PCP.
