Short-term temporary employee definition
Short-term temporary employee means a member of the School Administrative and Support Staff employed by the Director-General on a temporary basis, either full-time or part-time, under section 21 of the Act, for a period of one school term or less.

Short-term temporary employee means a temporary employee who in in a 16 type of position in which a temporary employee works less than nine hundred ten hours in a calendar 17 year in a work unit in which a thirty-five-hour work week is standard or less than one thousand forty 18 hours in a calendar year in a work unit in which a forty-hour work week is standard. Where the 19 standard work week falls between thirty-five and forty hours, the director, in consultation with the 20 department, is responsible for determining what hour threshold will apply.
