Short-term temporary employee definition

Short-term temporary employee means a member of the School Administrative and Support Staff employed by the Director-General on a temporary basis, either full-time or part-time, under section 21 of the Act, for a period of one school term or less.
Short-term temporary employee means an employee engaged under the PSM Act for a period of less than twelve months.
Short-term temporary employee means a temporary employee who is employed in a short-term temporary position.

Short-term temporary employee means one who is hired for six (6) months or less as relief or for a special project of limited duration. A Short Term Temporary Employee shall be covered by the terms and conditions of this Collective Agreement, except for the following:
Short-term temporary employee means a temporary employee who in in a 20 type of position in which a temporary employee works less than nine hundred ten hours in a calendar 21 year in a work unit in which a thirty-five-hour work week is standard or less than one thousand forty 22 hours in a calendar year in a work unit in which a forty-hour work week is standard. Where the 23 standard work week falls between thirty-five and forty hours, the director, in consultation with the 24 department, is responsible for determining what hour threshold will apply.
Short-term temporary employee means an employee engaged under the PSM Act for a period of less than 12 months. Stillbirth/Stillborn child is as defined under the Fair Work Xxx 0000 (Cth).
Short-term temporary employee means an employee who is engaged for a specific period of time by PFD and who is not a Part-time or Casual employee. PFD will stipulate the expected duration of the employment prior to engagement. This may be defined as a set period of employment or as the duration of a specific project or task with an indicative time frame (eg. a period where another employee is on maternity leave). Upon employment, PFD shall provide the employee with the details of their employment status in writing. The use of temporary employment provisions shall not be used as a form of permanent probation or to avoid any statutory unfair dismissal provisions.

The period of employment for temporary employees hired for all other purposes shall be limited to twelve (12) months. A project or assignment of limited duration shall not exceed eighteen (18) weeks’ duration in any twelve (12) month period. Any projects or assignments of limited duration in excess of that provided for herein will be posted.

  • Short-Term Payout means the payout set forth in Section 4.1.

  • Short-Term Resource Procurement Target means, for Delivery Years through May 31, 2018, as to the PJM Region, for purposes of the Base Residual Auction, 2.5% of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement determined for such Base Residual Auction, for purposes of the First Incremental Auction, 2% of the of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement as calculated at the time of the Base Residual Auction; and, for purposes of the Second Incremental Auction, 1.5% of the of the PJM Region Reliability Requirement as calculated at the time of the Base Residual Auction; and, as to any Zone, an allocation of the PJM Region Short-Term Resource Procurement Target based on the Preliminary Zonal Forecast Peak Load, reduced by the amount of load served under the FRR Alternative.   • Short Term means a period of one or less than one (1) year;
