SGMA definition

SGMA means the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SB 1168, SB 1319 and AB 1739) that collectively comprise the Act and all regulations adopted under the legislation, as that legislation and those regulations may be amended from time to time.
SGMA means the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, pursuant to Division 6 Conservation, Development and Utilization of State Water Resources Part 2.74, Chapter 5, Section 10720, et seq.
SGMA means the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act of 2014 and all regulations adopted under the legislation (SB 1168, SB 1319 and AB 1739) that collectively comprises the Act, as that legislation and those regulations may be amended from time to time.

  • The Board of Directors may fund the Agency and the GSP for the Basin as provided in Chapter 8 of SGMA (commencing with section 10730 of the Water Code), and through voluntary contributions from Members, with the intent that the Agency will reimburse each Member at a later date.
