Wick Care Hub / Village Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) Commitment in principle.
Fire & Rescue activities are designed to reduce demand on SFRS and reduce death, injury and destruction caused by fire, however the implications of reducing fire do have an impact on wider societal issues which are reflected in the SOA.
Based on the Company’s experience, such accounts may be changed when reviewed in accordance with SFRS or IFRS.
SFRS are aware that there is evidence from Health colleagues that when people of a certain age (who were in the main healthy and fit) have a serious fall that results in hospital services, then this can lead to increased risk of infection, muscle loss, mobility problems, and general demise of health .
Currently SFRS attend the following CPP main groups: Alliance board; SOA 2 group ( which includes the Community safety reference); Adult protection committee; and Alcohol & Drugs partnership.
