Settlement Interval definition

Settlement Interval has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
Settlement Interval means any one of the six ten (10) minute time intervals beginning on any hour and ending on the next hour (e.g. 12:00 to 12:10, 12:10 to 12:20, etc.).

  • If during any Settlement Interval, Seller delivers Product amounts, as measured by the amount of Facility Energy, in excess of the product of the Guaranteed Generation Capacity and the duration of the Settlement Interval, expressed in hours (“Excess MWh”), while there is a Negative LMP during such Settlement Interval, Seller shall pay to Buyer an amount equal to the absolute value of the Negative LMP times such excess MWh (“Negative LMP Costs”).
