Service Taxes definition

Service Taxes means all sales, use, lease, service, value-added, excise, consumption, stamp duty and such other taxes and duties that are assessed against a Party by a Tax Authority on the provision of the Services as a whole or on a particular Service, but excluding Income Taxes.
Service Taxes has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.
Service Taxes shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.6(b).

More Definitions of Service Taxes

Service Taxes will be defined as: (i) all state and local sales, use, value-added, gross receipts, foreign, privilege, utility, infrastructure maintenance, property, federal excise and similar levies, duties and other similar tax-like charges lawfully levied by a duly constituted taxing authority against or upon the Services performed by Qwest under this Agreement; and (ii) tax-related surcharges or fees that are related to the Services performed by Qwest under this Agreement and authorized by applicable tariffs. However, Customer will not be liable for any Taxes imposed on or measured by the net income or net worth of Qwest (including the Washington State Business and Occupation Tax). The cost of Service Taxes is not part of the price agreed upon for Services under this Agreement and will be in addition thereto.
Service Taxes shall have the meaning specified in Section 26.5 (Taxes; Definitions).
