Service Line definition

Service Line means any electric supply line through which electricity is, or is intended to be, supplied:
Service Line means any indoor line at which one (1) or more persons are waiting for or receiving service of any kind, whether or not such service involves the exchange of money.
Service Line means a distribution line that transports gas from a common source of supply to a customer meter or the connection to a customer’s piping, whichever is farther downstream, or the connection to a customer’s piping if there is not a customer meter. A customer meter is the meter that measures the transfer of gas from a utility to a customer.

Examples of Service Line in a sentence

  • The Company’s engineering layout shall be the sole basis used for determining the design of the Line Extension and/or Service Line.

  • Any additional Line Extension and/or Service Line costs in excess of those costs assumed by the Company under this Tariff shall be borne by the Applicant/Customer.

  • For Temporary Service for residential single-unit house construction where both the temporary Service Line and meter can be transferred to the completed building, the Temporary Service shall be provided by the Company upon the Applicant’s/Customer’s payment of the Company’s estimated costs to provide this service.

  • The Company shall provide an Applicant, at no charge, one (1) span of conductor and related material on Private Right-of-Way for each Line Extension, including the Service Line, to serve a Permanent Residential Customer.

  • The Company shall provide an Applicant, at no charge, up to three (3) spans of conductor, three(3) poles and related material on Public Right-of-Way for each Line Extension, including the Service Line.


More Definitions of Service Line

Service Line means an indoor line in which one or more individuals are waiting for or receiving service of any kind, whether or not the service involves the exchange of money.
Service Line means an indoor or outdoor line in which one (1) or more persons are waiting for or receiving service of any kind, whether or not the service involves the exchange of money, including but not limited to, ATM lines, concert lines, food vendor lines, movie ticket lines, and sporting event lines.
Service Line as used in this subrule, means any secondary line extension, as defined in subrule 20.1(3), on private property serving a single customer or point of attachment of electric service.
Service Line as used in this subrule, means the piping that extends from the distribution main to the meter set riser.
Service Line means a telecommunications link from the Central Office terminating at the PSAP.
