Service Line definition
Service Line means any electric supply line through which electricity is, or is intended to be, supplied:
Service Line means an indoor line in which one or more individuals are waiting for or receiving service of any kind, whether or not the service involves the exchange of money.

Service Line means a distribution line that transports gas from a common source of supply to a customer meter or the connection to a customer’s piping, whichever is farther downstream, or the connection to a customer’s piping if there is not a customer meter. A customer meter is the meter that measures the transfer of gas from a utility to a customer.
Service Line as used in this subrule, means any secondary line extension, as defined in subrule 20.1(3), on private property serving a single customer or point of attachment of electric service.

Service Line means a Utility line, up to and including the meter, the function of which is to directly connect the improvements on an individual property to another Utility line located off such property, which other Utility line connects more than an individual line to a larger system. However, unless noted otherwise in the Design-Build Specifications, this term excludes any line that supplies an active feed from a Utility Owner’s facility(ies) to supply, activate or energize TxDOT’s or a Governmental Entity’s Highway Service System. Such line, including its actual connection to the Utility facility, shall instead be considered to be part of the applicable Highway Service System.
Service Line means a telecommunications link from the Central Office terminating at the PSAP.
Service Line means a pipe connected to a business or residence from a water main, typically of a size not exceeding 6 inches in diameter, and including its gaskets and other appurtenances. For purposes of this chapter, service lines refer to pipes specifically used for drinking water transmission.
