Semiconductor definition
Semiconductor means one of the following:
Semiconductor means a material having conductivity characteristics intermediate between conductors and insulators. Junctions between certain types of semiconductors permit electric current to flow more easily in one (1) direction than the other.
Semiconductor means any class of crystalline solids
Examples of Semiconductor in a sentence
With respect to each Project, to the extent not previously delivered to the Department pursuant to Section 4.11 (Lock-Up Agreement; Semiconductor MOUs), the Department shall have received a fully executed copy of all additional Major Project Documents required to be delivered pursuant to the relevant Disbursement Milestone.
More Definitions of Semiconductor
Semiconductor means an integrated electronic device or system most commonly manufactured using materials such as, but not limited to, silicon, silicon carbide, or III-V compounds, and processes such as, but not limited to, lithography, deposition, and etching. Such devices and systems include but are not limited to analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and photonics, for memory, processing, sensing, actuation, and communications applications. “Semiconductor Manufacturing” means Semiconductor wafer production, Semiconductor fabrication or Semiconductor packaging. Semiconductor wafer production includes the processes of wafer slicing, polishing, cleaning, epitaxial deposition, and metrology. Semiconductor fabrication includes the process of forming devices such as transistors, poly capacitors, non-metal resistors, and diodes on a wafer of semiconductor material. Semiconductor packaging means the process of enclosing a Semiconductor in a protective container (package) and providing external power and signal connectivity for the assembled integrated circuit.
Semiconductor has the meaning set forth in Section 7(h) (Remedies, Mitigation and Clawbacks) of the Guardrail Provisions.
Semiconductor means an integral unit including a plurality of active and/or passive circuit elements formed at least in part of semiconductor material and associated on, or in, one substrate comprising the first level of packaging for such elements.
Semiconductor has the meaning given to the term in the definitions of Annex C (Guardrail Provisions).
Semiconductor means any class of crystalline solids intermediate in electrical conductivity between a conductor and an insulator.
Semiconductor means any class of crystalline solids intermediate in electrical conductivity between a conductor and an insulator. PP. "Semiconductor Manufacturer" means a new or existing manufacturer that is focused on reequipping, expanding, or establishing a manufacturing facility in Illinois that produces semiconductors or components that directly support the functions of semiconductors. Semiconductor manufacturing also includes the manufacturing of component parts that are required for the development and operation of quantum computers and quantum computing facilities.
Semiconductor has the meaning given to the term in Section 7(h) (Remedies, Mitigation and Clawbacks) of the Guardrail Provisions. “Semiconductor Manufacturing Capacity” has the meaning given to the term in the Guardrail Provisions. “Sensitive Information” means: (a) any information that is subject to Data Protection Laws; (b) Trade Secrets, or any other information in which any Recipient Party has confidential Intellectual Property (including any relevant Project IP owned by any Recipient Party); and
