Semester definition

Semester means the first six months or the second six months of a calendar year.
Semester means half of the school year.
Semester means one of the two approximately 19.5 week periods which together constitute the academic year.

Semester means the school semester that typically ends near the end of the calendar year and the end of the spring each school year. The Board can have no more than two semesters in a school year.
