Segments definition

Segments means (i) reservations for airline passenger flights, less cancellations prior to the date of departure, and (ii) reservations for other travel-related products and services, such as hotel rooms, rental cars, tours, and cruises, that are not canceled. For example, except to the extent affected by cancellations, a reservation for one passenger on a direct flight constitutes one Segment, a reservation for one passenger on a round-trip consisting of two direct flights constitutes two Segments, a reservation for one passenger on a two-segment connecting flight constitutes two Segments, a reservation for two passengers on a direct flight constitutes two Segments, even if the reservations for both passengers are within the same passenger name record (“PNR”), and a reservation for a hotel room or rental car for a continuous period of multiple days (e.g., one hotel client for five continuous nights or one car client for five continuous days) constitutes one Segment.
Segments shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.
Segments means the different parts of Your Account we may establish that are subject to unique pricing, grace periods, or other terms. We create these parts of Your Account for such things as Your purchases and Special Transfers.

Examples of Segments in a sentence

  • Technical design plan that contains detailed descriptions of the work, including any Components, Segments, or Stages that will be advanced in that Phase, as well as the anticipated schedules for such work.

  • As a LATAM Airlines World Elite Mastercard cardholder, you are eligible to receive two LATAM Courtesy Segments each program year as long as you maintain an open, active, and current LATAM Airlines World Elite Mastercard and as long as you have a valid, open, and linked LATAM Pass account.

  • LATAM Pass Gold elite members receive four Courtesy Segments as a benefit of their elite status for flights within South America, and are eligible to receive one additional Courtesy Segment for flights outside South America as a benefit of the LATAM Airlines World Elite Mastercard.

More Definitions of Segments

Segments are portions of McLeodUSA Cable routes specified in Exhibit A of this Agreement, which are capable of being tested and accepted.
Segments means net air segments, as determined by Galileo's billing system in accordance with current practices, in respect of transactions made in the Galileo System within the ATS Territory by (i) Neutral Travel Providers and Other Customers that have entered into subscriber agreements with ATS for Reservations Services (or, following the date hereof, by Neutral Travel Providers and Other Customers within the ATS Territory that have entered into subscriber agreements with Galileo for Reservations Services) from which Booking Fee Revenue is generated which is split between Galileo and ATS, with respect to NTP Revenue, in accordance with the DSSA between Galileo and ATS, or which is split between Galileo and ATS, with respect to Other Customer Revenue, in accordance with the first clause of Section 8.8(a) of the Galileo International Partnership Agreement (or, following the date hereof, would have been split between Galileo and ATS, with respect to NTP Revenue, in accordance with the DSSA between Galileo and ATS or which would have been split between Galileo and ATS, with respect to Other Customer Revenue, in accordance with the first Clause of Section 8.8(a) of the Galileo International Partnership Agreement, had that agreement and that provision, respectively, continued to have been in effect) and (ii) Other Customers (corporate only) of United, USAW, or Air Canada utilizing a Customized Product from which Booking Fee Revenue is generated which is split in accordance with the first clause of Section 8.8(c) of the Galileo International Partnership Agreement (or, following the date hereof, which would have been split in accordance with the first Section 8.8(c) of the Galileo International Partnership Agreement, had that provision continued to have been in effect). The calculation of net air segments to be credited to ATS hereunder excludes net air segments in respect of transactions made in the Galileo System by Other Customers of United, USAW, or Air Canada utilizing Partner Developed Products. All capitalized terms used in this definition of the term "Segments" shall be as defined in the Galileo International Partnership Agreement or the Distributor Sales and Service Agreement between Galileo and ATS as in effect immediately prior to the date hereof.
