It is an offence for a lessor or a property manager to require a tenant to sign a Joint Application for Disposal of Security Bond form unless the residential tenancy agreement has terminated, the rent to be paid under the tenancy agreement is decreased or a pet is no longer kept at the premises, and the amount of the security bond to be paid to the tenant or lessor is stipulated on the form.
The Company may retain the Security Bond for a period of either 21 days after the conclusion of the Hire Period, or such other period as is reasonably required by the Company to determine the Hirer’s liability to the Company under the terms of this Hire Agreement and to attend to payment of that liability from the Security Bond.
Security Bond; upon execution of this Agreement, Construction Manager shall provide a security bond on the form provided by the Owner in the amount of 5% of the Construction Cost Limitation.
