Second Officer definition

Second Officer when used herein means a flight deck operating crew member other than Captain or First Officer who is assigned to duties aboard the aircraft.

Second Officer means a Pilot whose duty is to assist the Captain in the operation of an aircraft who is properly qualified to serve as and holds currently effective Transport Canada or other Governmental certificates authorizing him to serve as Second Officer.
