Scheduled Flight definition

Scheduled Flight means a flight in an aircraft where the airline is listed in the Official Airline guide or equivalent and the air carrier holds a certificate, licence or similar authorization for scheduled air transportation issued by the relevant authorities in the country in which the aircraft is registered and, in accordance with such authorization, maintains and publishes schedules and tariffs for passenger service between named airports at regular and specific times. Scheduled Airline does not include Private Charter.
Scheduled Flight means a flight in an aircraft operated by an air carrier, provided that:
Scheduled Flight means one flight of the series of flights (to/from airport from/to the same destination), operated in clearly stated pattern and is sold via standard GDS or accessible public internet booking engines.

  • On Time GuaranteeWe shall pay You up to the Benefit Limit if the departure of Your Scheduled Flight is delayed from the time specified in Your travel itinerary for more than two (2) consecutive hours and the delay is caused solely by AirAsia.

  • Flight OverbookedIn the event that You are denied from boarding a confirmed Scheduled Flight as indicated on the travel ticket due toover-booking whilst travelling out of Singapore and no alternative transportation is made available to You within six(6) consecutive hours of the boarding time indicated on the travel ticket, We shall pay You $100 for each continuous six(6) hour period, up to the Benefit Limit.

  • The late arrival of Your incoming Scheduled Flight is due to the outgoing connecting Scheduled Flight not being in the same airport as the incoming Scheduled Flight.N.B. This Policy will only pay for a claim made under either Section 3, 5, 6 or 12 for the same event but not for more than one of the Sections.

  • Mechanical breakdown or derangement or structural defect to the incoming connecting Scheduled Flight aircraft.

  • You must obtain and provide to Us a written verification from AirAsia, stating that You were denied from boarding a confirmed Scheduled Flight due to over-booking.


More Definitions of Scheduled Flight

Scheduled Flight means a flight that operates according to a fixed timetable, for which tickets can be purchased by the general public;

Departure times, transfers and destination points shall be established by reference to the Insured Person’s Scheduled Flight ticket.
Scheduled Flight means a flight which is part of a series of flights involving transportation of passengers and baggage which are available for general paid use and are performed according to the officially approved schedule between the same two or more points, regardless of payload. Regular flights include additional flights of this series approved in the schedule.
