Returned Payments definition

Returned Payments. If a payment is made on Your account and the payment is returned to the University unpaid as a result of non-sufficient funds, then the University is entitled to charge Your account a $25.00 fee and administratively to withdraw You from the University.
Returned Payments has the meaning given to it in Section 1602.
Returned Payments. If a payment made to my student account is returned by the bank for any reason, I agree to repay the original amount of the payment plus a returned payment fee of $25. I further understand that I am responsible for paying the collection agency fee which may be based on a percentage of my delinquent account, together with all costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, necessary for the collection of my delinquent account. Finally, I understand that my delinquent account may be reported to one or more of the national credit bureaus. Massachusetts State Intercept: I understand that Bridgewater State University participates in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Intercept program. I further understand that Bridgewater State University may refer my delinquent account to the Massachusetts State Intercept program which will intercept my Massachusetts state income tax refunds and/or Massachusetts State Lottery winnings. Examples of Returned Payments in a sentence

  • Insufficient Funds & Returned Payments: We charge a $25.00 fee on all returned electronic payments or rejected credit card payments that were not processed because of: (1) insufficient funds; (2) a lack of available credit; (3) stopped payment; or (4) any other reason(s) for returns.

Additionally, we and our Service Providers may use your information for risk management purposes and may use, store, and disclose your information acquired in connection with this Agreement as permitted by law, including (without limitation) any use to effect, administer, or enforce a transaction or to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud, unauthorized transactions, claims, or other liability. We and our Service Providers shall have the right to retain such data even after termination or expiration of this Agreement for risk management, regulatory compliance, audit compliance, and audit reasons, and as permitted by applicable law for everyday business purposes.
