Retained Interest definition

Retained Interest. The meaning set forth in the Trust Agreement.
Retained Interest means, with respect to any Loan Asset, (a) all of the obligations, if any, of the agent(s) under the documentation evidencing such Loan Asset and (b) the applicable portion of the interests, rights and obligations under the documentation evidencing such Loan Asset that relate to such portion(s) of the indebtedness and interest in other obligations that are owned by another lender.
Retained Interest shall have the meaning set forth in Section 12.17(a).

Retained Interest. If applicable, with respect to any Underlying Security, an ownership interest in and a right to a portion of the payments thereon by the obligor thereof, as specified in the related Supplement, held by the Person so specified in such Supplement.
