Resigning Member definition

Resigning Member means at any time any Clearing Member: (i) who has given notice to the Clearing House for the purposes of resigning from a particular Service; or (ii) in respect of whom the Clearing House has given notice for the purposes of requiring such Clearing Member to resign from a particular Service

Resigning Member has the meaning set forth in Section 10.18B.(1).

• In such circumstances, and as further provided in the Default Rules, the Resigning Member may be required to maintain some or all of its Contribution in connection with that Service until after the completion of the default management process related to the relevant Default, notwithstanding that the relevant Resignation Effective Date might occur prior to such time.

• The Clearing House shall notify the Retiring Member, Retiring Agent Member, or the Resigning Member or Resigning Agent Member of any steps taken under this Rule.
